The Kildonan Community Choir is inviting people to gather again this Christmas after two years of solitary holiday celebrations with a special Christmas concert.
And the invitation is open to all.
The free concert takes place this Sunday, November 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church on 1315 Gateway Road in Winnipeg.
God Is With Us is a festival of carols and classics, performed by a mass choir and accompanied by a live orchestra—including the Hallelujah Chorus.
The 80-voice choir and the 20-piece orchestra have spent months practicing family favourites and re-imagined Christmas hymns.
And it’s all for a good cause
The concert is free, with a freewill offering to support Generation Rising, a local charity that partners with churches in Latin America to build schools for children born into extreme poverty.
